Our Cator Hill View site is located on a high part of Dartmoor and enjoys amazing 360 degree panaromic views of the moors.

 

The site is perched on the side of a hill overlooking two beautiful valleys and benefits from spacious camping for the larger group who need their vehicle alongside the tent.

 

There is open moorland walking just seconds from the entrance to the site and easy road access to popular areas such as Bellever, Two Bridges and Dartmeet. We are also right next to the Dartmoor Dog Walking field... see map on information page.

 

Cator Hill View is geared towards the more self sufficient camper because of its remote location. We also accept small campervans for those touring the area but we cannot accommodate caravans or motorhomes unfortunately.

 

Due to it's location, the site does not have running water but does benefit from toilets. If you are planning to book with us on this site please ensure you bring sufficient water supplies with you.

 

We have a parking facility at Cator similar to our Wideombe site. This enables walkers and wild campers to take advantage of relatively secure parking whilst out enjoying the moor. More information on this can be found here
